Dua Lipa is a British artist/singer who was born in London United Kingdom on August 22nd, 1995. The self-titled debut album was released in 2017 after she had been signed by Warner Bros Records. The album reached third place on the U.K. Albums Chart and was followed by eight singles including Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. Number One track New Rules which peaked at sixth in the United States. Lipa received the Brit Award in 2018 as British Female Soloist and British Breakthrough Artist. The album has been certified platinum in a number of nations. Dua Lipa was conceived at the age of 18 in London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). She has Bosnian roots through her grandmother.
