Niykee who's had a whirlwind few years including being selected by Snoop to join Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee keeps a steady songwriting schedule despite all this. A producer magnet Niykee constantly sifts through the numerous beats delivered to her. She finds that most are a source of new songs. "I'll be able tell within 5 seconds if it's a good beat. When I've got a melody in my brain, I will start writing right away." While I'm at my front porch, playing guitar, my lyrics simply appear and usually are written in fewer than thirty minutes. Niykee has found that her memories of pain provide endless sources of inspiration. It's tough to forget memories that are painful from my early years, particularly the loss of my sister. These memories are integrated into her music. The loss of my sister and my childhood influence the music that I compose. It's important to me to have a deep significance to all I undertake.
